Grape: 100% sangiovese.
Vineyards: two vineyards in Bevagna in cru Arquata at 230m height on clay calcareous soil, exposure south-east.
Description: it pours a ruby red. It has a pleasant aroma of sweet violet and rose and fruity textures of cherry and raspberry. It is a fresh wine with balanced sapidity, fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged for at least 9 months in large oak barrels. It is an early-drinking wine that easily matches a wide variety of dishes.
Harvest: handmade in October.
Vinification: grapes are crushed and de-stemmed, fermentation is made in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature at 28˚C. Maceration of 2 weeks with pumping-over and delestage.
